Administrative Assistant
Job Description
Required Knowledge and Skills: Include but not limited to - Strong organizational, communication and computer skills. Must be well versed in MS Office (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point), and Quickbooks. Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent telephone skills. Ability to perform complex and technical administrative work, prepare clear and concise reports as needed. Ability to operate standard office equipment; basic knowledge and understanding of record keeping and filing rules, protocols and operational procedures. Additional responsibilities include administrative tasks as assigned. Must be able to follow-up on assignments, work independently, understand and carry out oral and written directions.
Essential Job Duties: This position provides a variety of other related administrative services such as, but not limited to: answering phones, taking messages, greeting clients, scheduling appointments, File/Database Management -- Manage client data in automated systems, prepare reports as requested, maintain tax filings and other confidential and sensitive records as assigned; respond to requests for assistance, assist with set-up, preparation and follow-up to meetings with clients. Assist with coordinating assignments with special events.
Education: Education can range from a minimum of high school diploma to college graduate.
